Casino – Luxury
Casino is a game which is placed to acquire the wealth of one person by means of gambling. The gambling for acquiring the wealth can be shortly known as casino. While considering casino, we should be aware that there are multiple places where casino can be played. This place can otherwise be called as luxury. The luxury defines the type of people who is playing the game of casino and also the amount involved. If we look at the casino being played at a small restaurant, then the type of involved would be middle class family. Obviously, the middle class family shall not be in a position to bet great money. This is one case where as in the case of big restaurants like five star or seven star hotel, the amount involved would be very huge and hence the people who are playing the game will also be very rich. In a five star hotel, the game would be played under a much constrained environment. There would be charges for playing the game of casino in a five star hotel. The mode of playing the game of casino is not restricted only to the restaurants. The casino is played even in the other modes. One case where we can quote the game of casino being played is over internet. This is called online casino. Online casino is one where people would play the game over the internet. There is no physical touch between the players. They would bet the money over the online. The settlement of money and other factors would play a major part in determining the place and mode of game.
Type of gambling
Most of the time the gambling is considered to be betting for money only. But it is not true. The gambling or casino can be of other types also. Most of the times, the caino gambling is played not only for money. If we look at a deeper angle, the casino gambling is played to acquire the wealth in whole. It is not only about acquiring money. The game can be played for any other purposes also. The casino gambling has positive and negative effects in terms of the productivity. We call it a positive productivity when the individual increases its wealth and it is called negative productivity if the individual loses. We may say that the total money value or the wealth among the individuals would be constant. It is absolutely constant because the money accumulated at one person level is transferred to the other person without any loss. There is no loss of money. The success at one person is equal to the failure at the person. But, this theory does not hold good in all the senses. There are middle man in the game who generally loots the money. They come in the name of brokers. They trade the money in the name of others. Hence, there is a some loss of total money and this loss may be considered to be a major factor. But there is no need to worry about this much because the lost money is not very huge in size.
casino in sports
The gambling in sports is a serious crime. The casino in sports is never legal. But government has taken steps to make it legal. This is because of the obvious reasons. In sports, the casino occurs in two forms. In the first part, there is no involvement of players who is playing the games. This is called passive gambling. The casino is done passively and the players themselves do not directly influence the gambling. But, it does not obstruct the gambler to bet on the name of the players. The second type of casino is called active gambling. In the active type of gambling, the players will also be involved. There are huge amount involved in this type of gambling. The gambler will handover huge sum of money to the players. He would ask the player to under perform or over perform. Based on that, the gambler would bet against the third party. Upon success against his odds, the gambler would be able to make more money. These are the major differences between active and passive gambling. The active gambling is completely illegal. No government accepts that. Government shall not be able to digest such cases and the punishments are huge. But some of the passive cases are legal. This is because the intensity is low and it is happening in a controlled environment. Hence, passive gambling is adjustable whereas the active gambling has to be removed from its roots.
See-saw
This is a general phenomenon in every law and order. There is always a debate on considering the casino as a part of the legal or illegal. There are school of thoughts which want to standardise the casino and make it legal. They have their unique stands. They have a clear cut back up also. They claim that by standardising the casino as legal, one can actually have full control over the game. The word full control is used because that the control can not be obtained otherwise. The control can be gained in different areas. If the casino is not legalised, then there are possibilities that it would lead serious problems. The state would not be in a position to forecast the amount of economy which is going under the game of casino. Because, it is illegal and hence it goe underground. If the casino game is legalised then the state would be able to gain full control as stated above. This is because that the state would be able to know the amount of economy going into that sector. They would also be able to identify the flaws in that. They would be able to forecast the damage and prepare themselves to protect against their future issues. Hence, the debate of whether considering the casino to be legalised or leave it without legalisation keeps on continuing and hence we can simply define that it looks like a game of see-saw.
Casino – standards
Casino is neither a positive nor a negative game. But most of the people classifies it to be in the negative side. There are real reasons to consider the gambling to be in the negative side. Gambling is played for only one unique mentality which is not good. Any gambler would like to win all the wealth in the game. This is not good. This deteriorates the whole eco system. If we look at the world, there are institutions. The institutions are made up of trust, hardwork and greater intellectual skills. If there are some people who are not utilising the proper pathway for the success, then there is a greater problems in it. This is a quite obvious reason for calling the gambling as bad. This is because, gambling leads to a position where people blindly thinks about money. Above all, the earning of this money is considered as easy money. People want to earn the money at the easiest possible way. This is not at all a good situation. This makes the people less honesty, less disciplined. It pollutes the entire human individual. Hence, most of the time, the casino is considered to be very neagtive to society. Another concern is that the money earned out of the casino is not properly utilised. It is used for the purpose that is not good for the society. This is also a major problem in the game of casino. Hence, all the things put together, the casino games may be considered as negative.
